About Me
My journey is a rich tapestry woven with numerous life lessons, authenticity, and truth. It includes moments I sometimes wish to forget, but it also narrates a story of resilience. Through this journey, I unearthed my own fierce grace. I see myself as a Desert Rose, because my heart is rooted in the High Desert region of Texas and New Mexico, where this stunning flower thrives. Like the resilient Desert Rose, I flourish in nature, soaking up the high temperatures and plentiful sunshine. I also happen to have a deep appreciation for Sting’s song “Desert Rose.”
Throughout my life, I’ve embraced the spirit of a Free Spirit. Yoga transcends mere hobby for me; it is the essence of my being. Introduced to Yoga by my father, a Kundalini Teacher, in my early twenties, I was a wandering soul until I found my path. From that moment on, I felt a magnetic pull toward the mat, a call I continue to feel on a daily basis. In October 2012, I decided to transform my passion into a profession and became an RYT 200 Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher at Anamaya in Costa Rica, under the guidance of Paula Tursi from Reflections Yoga in New York.
I immediately began teaching at Casa de Yoga in El Paso, Texas, and I’ve never looked back. My journey of growth and knowledge continues, leading me to become an E-RYT 500 certified Teacher with the School Yoga Institute (SYI) in Bali in 2019. I then trained as a Kundalini teacher (KRI 300) in 2020 with Panch Nishan in Berlin, and pursued further education as an Ayurveda Wellness Coach with Katie Silcox’s Shakti School, and a Yin Yoga Teacher with Soma Chandra and Persia Juliet in 2021. In 2022, I became a Crystal Bowl Facilitator with Irina Stern’s Sound Alchemy and added Breathwork Facilitator training in Portugal in 2023 (Mela Mariposa).
I am also a Teacher Trainer with School Yoga Institute (SYI) and am grateful for the opportunities to facilitate teacher trainings for them around the globe. I channel my passion for Yoga into sharing my knowledge and experiences with others, drawing from a rich tapestry of influences acquired over the years, including TCM, Ayurveda, Shamanism, Breathwork, Meditation, and Sound Healing. My teaching style is a true reflection of myself—a vibrant blend of inspirations from across the world.
